Today was breezy, but sunny and WARM!!! The first such day in a long time! It was a long day on the water, with lots of "no wake" zones, but it was so beautiful, who cares??? |

Had planned to catch a mooring ball in Vero Beach, but found out we'd have to raft to others - this wasn't satisfactory, so we asked about dockage - none available, so executed Plan C and came ahead to this town where we'd never been before. After some confusion getting in (the channel is in a different place than on my chart because of hurricanes) we settled in safe and sound. A beautiful, sunny afternoon, as well!! |

A windy but warm day today, and fine on the water, since the wind was "at our back," and we ended in a marina where we were able to rendezvous with our friends on Abigail, whom we met last spring! Lots of fun!!! |

Staying here for a month or so - we're five miles up the New River (no, I'd never heard of it either), which is narrow, full of boats, but still has some touches of "old Florida" - we're staying at a "marina resort", and the facilities are beautiful. Cheapest dockage in town, too! |
